York county, Pennsylvania farm is looking for three entrepreneurial farmers
Responsibilities include a segment of one of the following:
-Assist in the development of a native plant nursery by planting perennial shrubs & trees, flowers and herbs, fruits and berries. maintaining beds and marketing product.
-Market, organize and host farm events including weddings, educational programs and special events.
– Manage and develop animal program including horse boarding, small dairy herd and development of market for products associated with farm animals including soaps, cheeses, beef, lamb.
Ideal individual(s) would be willing to cross over as needed in the development of entire farm operation.
-Prefer some experience working or interning full-time on a farm and either strong interest in one or all of the following native plants, vegetable production, animal husbandry or agri-tainment and education.
-Physically fit, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, hard-working, and self-motivated
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Able to work independently and take ownership of segment of farm business
-Passionate about food, education, and animal welfare
-Committed to living and working in community
-able to lift hay bales (40-50pounds), comfortable around all types of animals.
-familiar with managing social media

-weekly schedule depends on the season.
-Compensation includes stipend, housing and commissions to be negotiated
