Apply for Dakota Rural Action Farm Beginnings Program Now
Dakota Rural Action is now accepting applications for Farm Beginnings, a farmer-led training and support program that teaches participants about low-cost, sustainable methods of farming and launching a profitable farm enterprise.
From October to March students participate in sessions led by established farmers and other agricultural professionals. During the spring and summer months students take part in a variety of on-farm tours and skills sessions. The course also offers mentorships/apprenticeships with local farmers.
