Summary:  How can beginning farmers and NRCS work together?  NRCS, the “Natural Resource Conservation Service,” is an agency under the USDA working to help landowners conserve, enhance and restore the land. It helps people address resource concerns and implement practices to improve upon those resource concerns. Beginning farmers can benefit from working with the NRCS in a number of different ways. There are funds geared specifically toward beginning farmers along with technical assistance and numerous other resources. In this webinar, we will discuss what the NRCS does and how beginning farmers can become more involved.
