The Real Food Challenge (RFC) is a student-led, nationwide movement of
committed young leaders who are making a change in their communities by
shifting more sustainable, socially just, and community-based food onto
their campuses. This February, the 2010 Northwest Real Food Youth
Convergence will gather 150 student leaders from all across the Northwest
region, including Montana, Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Wyoming, in
Missoula,Montana. (others too are welcome to come share how their region is overcoming obstacles in obtaining food sovereignty.)

This event’s intensive program will include opportunities to:
•    *DEVELOP* your skills, knowledge of food system issues, and  passions
to become a more effective student leader!
•    *ENGAGE* in the community through field trips to the food-centric side
of Missoula, communal meals, and lots of group games & interaction!
•    *GROW* our movement through sharing and learning from one another’s
stories, experiences, and ideas!

*Please join us* to make this weekend the richest harvest of student energy
and movement possible!

Registration starts December 10th, 2009 and is only $30: meals and housing
included. Scholarships and transportation support are available.
