Eden Ranch is a small horse ranch located in the mountains on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. The ranch serves as a horse rescue and a school for Liberty Training techniques as well as a center for spiritual healing. Eden Ranch is currently seeking a motivated, adventurous, hardworking individual or group to assume the role of Agricultural Manager. There are two grass pastures as well as several organic gardens throughout the property, all of which are an integral part of ranch and must be maintained. In addition, the fencing is in constant need of monitoring and repair and there are other projects to get involved in such as solar power, construction, and botanical gardening. The right candidate will assume control of the agricultural aspects of the farm and assist in future implementation of sustainable, efficient practices.
Eden Ranch is also in the process of expanding to include an agriculture internship program, and is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to manage the agricultural operations and help develop this program. This is an amazing opportunity for someone interested in developing their skills as a farmer and steward of the land and environment, all while living in the Caribbean.
Initial applicants will be volunteers and work in exchange for room and board, however there is the possibility of advancement. This position is open immediately and will remain open until it has been filled. At this time, they are also accepting volunteers to work on the ranch and assist with the roles described above.
