Farm Worker Needed on Illionis Farm
The Gentleman Farmer (an Illinois Farm) is looking for a full time farm worker for the remainder of the season starting immediately through October 31st.
Skills: hard worker, self starter, able to lift heavy loads. Experience in the field would be great but not necessary.
Time commitment: 9 hour work day generally starting 7ish to 4ish, weekdays and/or possibly a few weekends for markets.
The Gentleman Farmer is located in Barrington, Illinois between Lake-Cook Road and NW HWY 14 off of Ridge Rd. It is in McHenry County.
We grow vegetables and have laying hens. We currently have a 35 member weekly CSA and sell at the Logan Sq Farmer’s Market on Sundays.
