Field Operation Position on Farm in Sonoma County, California Type: Start date is as soon as possible (2012). Full and part-time opportunities are available. Weekend hours are occasionally required. Wages: Depends on experience. Position open until filled.

Location: Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, Healdsburg, California Farm Description: MIX Garden Produce is a vegetable, fruit and herb farm that provides clean, high quality produce to local restaurants. They practice and promote ecological stewardship of the land and a healthy and sustainable local food economy. General Description: In collaboration with and under direction of the farm manager, this full-time position will carry out all aspects of the field operations. Tasks include but are not limited to soil preparation, seeding and transplanting, cultivating and weeding, irrigation set-up, and harvesting and processing produce. Will also be responsible for delivering to local restaurants so a drivers license is required. Previous experience is helpful but not necessary. Must be physically fit and be able to work hard for long hours in hot and cold weather
