Isles, Inc., is 30 year old non-profit community development and environmental organization with a mission to foster self-reliant families in healthy sustainable communities.
They are seeking an experienced, dynamic leader to develop and coordinate urban agriculture (community and school gardens, youth entrepreneur mini-farm), nutrition, community education and public policy projects. This senior team member will also engage in regional and statewide food and nutrition efforts and environmental and open space advocacy. The position offers an opportunity to build upon a strong 30 year sustainable development and agriculture foundation.
Candidates should have an advanced degree in agriculture/horticulture or planning, nutrition, public health, or related fields or
experience. Requires at least 5 years of work experience, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to conceptualize, plan and implement multiple projects simultaneously, and excellent communication and writing skills.
