The foundation of successful farming, soil health and development, New Hampshire

The foundation of successful farming, soil health and development, with a seminar by the Real Food Campaign (www.realfoodcampaign.org)  kicks off 9:30-4:30 Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Thompson House Eatery in Jackson, NH (right off Route 16). Hosted by The New Hampshire Institute of Agriculture and Forestry.

Presenter Dan Kittredge is an organic farmer and soil expert who explains in plain English the importance of good soil health, the practical and affordable steps we can take to improve it, and the positive impact enriched soil will have on your yields and revenue.

Lunch will be generously donated by Thompson House Eatery. The mid-day break will also include opportunities to socialize with your fellow farmers and an overview of NHIAF’s exciting plans and programs for 2012.

There is financial aid available, so please contact Doug Williams (doug@realfoodcampaign.org) at 603- 924-7008 for reservations and scholarship information.

We look forward to seeing you at the seminar and a prosperous 2012 growing season!

  1. Thanks for posting this! I would not have known about this event in time without this post. I was able to register for the seminars and participated in the first session yesterday. I am very much looking forward to applying these principles next season!
