Farm 255 is seeking to hire and invest in an experienced individual for its
Front-of-House management team.
We are a unique and pioneering farm-to-table establishment with an operating
model that is individual in its approach as well as its origin. Directly
connected to Full Moon Farms, our own biodynamic production farm located 4
miles from our restaurant in Athens, Georgia, we steward 100 acres of historic
farmland in organic vegetable row crops, forest-raised pigs and pasture-raised
chickens and cows, and in addition operate a 100-member Community Supported
Agriculture program. Our establishment is a mainstay of the cultural life of
Athens, as we are not only a 140-seat restaurant, but also a full bar and live
music venue. We are intimately connected to the pulse of the town, and strive
to act not only as an educational eatery, but also as a vibrant community hub.
We seek qualified candidates with at least 3 years experience in Front-of-House
operations. Possible candidates must be passionate for food and the industry,
and have well-versed experience in all aspects of service, staff management,
and general restaurant operations. Candidates should be ready to explore the
challenges and successes of operating a restaurant with a particular code of
ethics while still maintaining the uncompromising details necessary to provide
a superlative dining experience. Prior experience with the farm-to-table
concept and operations is helpful although not required, but a commitment to
learning about them is. Candidates should thrive in a collaborative/team
environment, be extremely hard working, self-motivated, and highly detail
oriented. Opportunity for growth, both within and outside of our current single
