This is a challenging opportunity to provide coordination and management of ESRI's strategic marketing and solutions efforts as they relate to the development and use of GIS products and services within the agriculture market.

Responsibilities:

•Provide thought leadership within the agriculture industry and ESRI
•Develop, manage, and execute a global business strategy for the use of GIS in the agriculture industry
•Develop and execute comprehensive industry marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support revenue, market share, and penetration objectives within the agriculture industry
•Develop and execute strategic marketing efforts to the agriculture industry through direct marketing, events, advertising, and marketing materials as well as sales and marketing campaigns
•Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and market factors in the agriculture industry to capitalize on market opportunities in the domain as they occur
•Identify and create opportunities to expand the use of GIS technology in the agriculture industry
•Work closely with the ESRI Partner Network to develop and maintain partners and partner channels to ensure the delivery of solutions to the agriculture sector
•Work closely with the sales staff, international division regional managers, and ESRI international distributors to provide domain expertise, market intelligence, support, and guidance
•Build and maintain a strong GIS user community within the industry through ESRI’s Agricultural User Group, print and e-newsletters, online forums, and other networking opportunities
•Represent and manage ESRI’s presence at agriculture-related conferences, trade shows, and seminars domestically and internationally
•Advocate the use of GIS technology to the various agriculture industry-related associations, standards organizations, and media

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s or master’s in agricultural science, a related field, GIS, or geography
•A minimum of seven years of demonstrated leadership and practical experience in agriculture or a related industry
•Specific and in-depth knowledge of GIS and its practical applications for the agriculture industry
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Effective interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    I have five year experience in application of GIS and Remote Sensing in Agriculture and Natural Resources. currently,I am working as a GIS Engineer in the project of AEZ (Agro-ecological zonation mapping ) of Mozambique country. Previously I have worked in Saudi Arabia for project of change detection in agriculture area . I have both domestic and international experience .
