Keynote Speaker Livia Marques Director, US Dept. of Agriculture People’s
Garden Initiative

The keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion about the future of
our city’s community gardens. Afternoon breakout sessions will give community
gardeners the opportunity to voice their concerns, address individual issues,
and learn about community organizing in “Growing Communities” workshops
sponsored by the American Community Gardening Association that continue on
Sunday.
