Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association’s (MOFGA’s) Farm Apprenticeship Program is an excellent way to learn to farm- through hands-on immersive learning! With more than 100 farms participating in our program there is a farm for every interest- from grass-based dairy to commercial scale mixed vegetables. In addition on farm learning MOFGA offers a series of weekly workshops, The Farm Training Projects that include farm tour, discussion and lecture on production topics and a potluck. Whether you are interested in learning to grow food for yourself and want to know how to run a homestead or if you’d like to farm for a living- MOFGA’s Apprenticeship Program can help you learn what you need to succeed.
