Through enriching real life examples and hands on demonstrations, participants will leave knowing how to plant, grow, maintain and harvest abundant organic edibles in their own home, with Permaculture designed systems. Saturday, October 9th. 12 to 4PM at the Potts Homestead in Saginaw; Sustainable Community Solutions: Permaculture in Practice
This series of 4 seminar workshops will bring local communities together to not only learn about, but begin installing sustainably designed Permaculture systems. Using our Host’s home as our working laboratory and model, we will design and implement replicable solutions in Renewable Energy, Organic year round Food production, Water catchment and storage, and Waste reduction and recycling. Each participant will leave with hands on experience in Permaculture theory, design, and installation. Students participating in all four seminars will receive 16 hours of intensive, real world, hands on Permaculture Design experience.
