The registration deadline of September 30 is quickly approaching and we wanted to make you aware of the amazing lineup of keynote speakers, presenters, & attendees at our upcoming farm conference. The website has been updated with the detailed schedule, keynote biographies, lodging information & a list of who’s coming to the conference thus far. Conference highlights include a keynote presentation from Tony Geraci, “Cafeteria Man” that reformed Baltimore City Public Schools Food Services, a farm tour and hands-on workshops at the Dickinson College Organic Farm, and presentations from the nations higher education leaders in college farming, innovative dining services, and sustainable community building.

The deadline for the poster session abstract submission has been moved to September 23, 2011. This is a great opportunity for your institution/organization to share what you are doing in regards to college farms, gardens, dining, or community building. The application process is easy.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE: Registration ends September 30, 2011 and is $175 for general registration. The first 50 General Registrants will receive a $25 discount. PERC members also receive a $25 discount. Student registration is only $65. Registration is free to current Dickinsonians.
