2011 Michigan Organic Conference: “Keeping the Local in Organic”

The Annual Michigan Organic Reporting Session and Conference will be held on Friday and Saturday March 4th and 5th, 2011 in East Lansing Michigan at the Kellogg Conference Center.

You will have the opportunity to choose from more than 20 educational sessions covering topics from soil building and marketing to policy and advocacy. Lunch will be at Brody hall at MSU and will feature items from their Farm to Institution model. We will offer our Taste of Michigan reception, featuring many of Michigan’s Organic Farmers’ food.

There will also be a Beginning Farmers Track during the Conference; And I’ll be speaking on Farm Bill Activism – Taylor Reid, your beginningfarmers.org administrator.
