2018 Farm Internship on Still Seeking Farm in New Hampshire

Still Seeking Farm, LLC is a small organic farm in Gilmanton New Hampshire. We grow nutrient dense fruits and vegetables. Still Seeking Farm, LLC is currently a part-time, diverse farming venture in Gilmanton, NH with the goal to become full-time. Our CSA, available for pick up at multiple locations, offers a wide assortment of fruits and vegetables from which we invite you to choose. What sets us apart? We feed the soil with trace minerals that are currently lacking in much of the soil in the United States. When soil is in harmony and has what it needs, the resulting product is a very naturally sweet vegetable or fruit replete with minerals that our bodies require.

2018 Farm Internship: We are looking for two interns. Interns must be willing to learn everything from the ground up such as running a chainsaw, clearing land, stacking brush, running a tractor, rototilling, picking rocks, amending beds, watering, weeding, harvesting, packing, washing, attending farmers markets, and such other garden related activities. Interns must be self-motivated as there will be times when they will have to work alone.

2018 Farm Internship Compensation: We offer a place to live and all food is provided. We encourage community cooking (we each cook for one another – as a new way to experiment in different dishes).  As an added incentive to work more hours, if interns work beyond 20 hours each week, then anything worked after the 20 hours is paid on an hourly basis. This pay rate will be set by what you know and if you can do the task at hand.

We sell at three farmers markets, sell to several chefs, have a CSA and are starting a non-profit organization in the town we live in. This non-profit is to bring all the farms in our community to a central location that they then can sell their goods year round. We are also clearing two more acres of land for garden space and are currently in the processing of applying for a grant to build two more greenhouses for winter markets. Our farm is a smoke free zone so if you smoke cigarettes do not apply for this position. We will consider couples.  No pets please.  You can view our website at www.stillseekingfarmllc.com, or Facebook page, www.facebook.com/stillseekingfarm and if you are interested you may email us at stillseekingfarm@gmail.com or call 603-267-5326.
