Agricultural Decision Tools Webinar Participants will learn how to navigate the Network for Environment and Weather Applications (NEWA) and Cornell Climate Smart Farming (CSF) Program websites and use their agricultural decision-making tools based on weather and climate.

This session will be two-fold, covering weather-based decision support tools for Integrated Pest Management and crop management on the Network for Environment and Weather Applications (NEWA) website (newa.cornell.edu) and climate decision-making tools for agriculture on the Cornell Climate Smart Farming (CSF) Program website. Participants will learn about the NEWA platform, followed by a website tour and overview of available pest forecast and crop management tools. From the Cornell CSF Program participants will receive a detailed look at CSF Decision Tools, focused on helping farmers and agricultural stakeholders in the Northeast deal with the challenges of climate variability and change, while taking advantage of opportunities. We will highlight similarities, differences, and collaborations between NEWA and CSF. Attendees will see the tools in action during demos, will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss tool uses, and provide feedback to the presenters on the tools during the webinar.
