  1. I am seeking sponsorship for the November 19-21 conference at Brooklyn College. I am an active volunteer with several nutrition groups as well as Brooklyn Rescue Mission, Bainbridge St., Bklyn, NY. I am on a fixed budget and would be grateful for the sponsorship. I am eager to bring the info back to my Bedford-Stuyvesant community. One of the organizations I volunteer with is Northeast Brooklyn Housing Development Corporation, 132 Ralph Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232. Telephone 718-4530-9490. Ms. Lisa Everett is the Director of our food pantry – Golden Harvest. Our organization, NEBHDCO is in the planning stages of opening an indoor farmers market right in the heart of Bed-Stuy! I am positive that your weekend conference will afford us a precious amount of information so that we can progressively move forward in a timely way. Won’t ypu please consider sponsorship for one or two of our NEBHDCO outreach coordinators. I can give references from Brooklyn Rescue Mission from the Reverends Jackson, as well as City Harvest. I attend a cooking class and a food and nutricion class with them. I have never been absent in over a year from one of their programs. I appreciate your time and attention in this matter. You can reach me by cell phone at 718-341-5683.

    Sincerely,

    Sophia Durall, Community Outreach Coordinator
