Farmers are Shouting; USDA Should Listen

Consolidation of the livestock sector has severely damaged competitive markets, livestock producer livelihoods, and rural qualities of life. NSAC and our allies have fought hard against this trend and accomplished that the 2008 Farm Bill require the P&SA, the primary law governing anticompetitive behavior in the livestock and poultry markets, to go through the rule making process.
