The 47th Avenue Farm was started as a unique urban farm in 1996 by Laura Masterson in Portland, Oregon. Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) project began on a double lot within the Portland city limits. We now manage 50 acres in the Willamette Valley. At Luscher Farm we grow vegetables year round on 12 acres of land within the Portland Metro Area. On Grand Island we farm 38 acres near Dayton and grow a mix of vegetable crops, cover crops and pasture. Our CSA currently has 200 member families and we also work with quite a few local award winning restaurants.

With over 20 years of successful, sustainable farming under our belts, 47th Avenue Farm is a fertile learning ground for those who are willing to work hard. We are hiring for a variety of positions, from entry level through managers. With the skills you learn at our farm there may be opportunities to advance within our operation and our alumni have gone on to start their own farms or continue their agricultural careers at universities, non-profits and other farms.

Full Time: 40-50hrs/week

Two Locations: Luscher Farm near Portland, OR & Grand Island near Dayton, OR

Seasonal & Year Round Work available
