Community CROPS is currently accepting applications for a full-time Farm Program Manager job in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The ideal candidate will have experience with both vegetable farming and program management.

The Growing Farmers Training Program works with limited-resource producers to help them start and succeed at farming. Building sustainable farm businesses involves significant one-on-one support to help limited-resource participants identify and meet their diverse goals.  The Community CROPS Farm Program Manager will be working one-on-one with participants, but also supervising staff, overseeing grant implementation, managing budgets and connecting with local and national resources.

Community CROPS helps people work together to grow healthy food and live sustainably. Founded in 2003, Community CROPS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit governed by a volunteer board of directors. CROPS fulfills its mission through two main projects: 1) a network of community gardens in Lincoln that helps families grow food for themselves and/or market, and 2) the Growing Farmers Training Program.  Ten staff and numerous volunteers carry out the work of the organization.
