Food in Italy: Sustainable Markets, Products, and Processes – Gustolab International Institute for Food Studies Fall 2015 Semester Study Abroad Program in Italy 
Includes a full 3-week immersion experience working directly with farmers in farms outside of Rome.

The program is open to all majors, and all students, degree-seeking or not.

Sustainable Food Systems in Italy(3 credits) COURSE
Credit Recommendation: 200-300 level, social science discipline
Nutrition and Food Culture in Italy (3 credits) COURSE
Credit Recommendation: 200~300 level, social science discipline, history, or nutrition.
Sustainable Food and Marketing in Italy (3 credits) COURSE
Credit Recommendation: 200~300 level, social science discipline, agricultural science, or business.
Food Production: Olive Oil and Wine (3 credits) COURSE
Credit Recommendation: 200~300 level, social science discipline, agricultural science, business.
Lexicon for Food Studies (Italian Language course) (3 credits) COURSE
Credit Recommendation: 100 level in Italian or modern languages, advanced credits available for students with prior study of Italian.
