A friend of mine (site admin. Taylor Reid) is looking for a house with land, or a small farm to buy in Michigan:
Do you know of one? He is looking for 10-60 acres, (target is 40 acres); optimally within 70 miles of Detroit city limits.
The house will ideally be large with a full walk-out basement. He intends to farm, and would prefer at least half of the land to be tillable or clear-able acres. A year-round water feature is another important aspect. Outbuildings are helpful. This property will be the foundation of an EcoVillage.
