The Natural Resources Trust of Easton is currently accepting applications for a part time year-round property worker for the NRT of Easton’s Sheep Pasture property. This position requires a wide variety of outdoor tasks, from large animal care to farm-related work and building and grounds maintenance. Hours of employment vary according to the season and the scheduled events of the Trust, but position is year round, including winter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of outdoor tasks, as needed for the maintenance and upkeep of the Sheep Pasture property, animals, and buildings. The ability to work well as part of a small team is essential in this position, as is a willingness to learn new tasks. Position entails majority of time working in an outdoor environment, with moderate physical labor required regularly. The part time property worker will work under the supervision of the NRT Property Manager.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have experience with farm or environmentally-related tasks and equipment, as well as grounds keeping procedures and equipment. Willingness to work with both large and small animals is required. Experience with light construction/ building maintenance is strongly desired. Must be able to work in all outdoor conditions and lift objects over 50 pounds. The ability to be self-motivated is important, as is the ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.

This position requires some interaction with the public on behalf of the Trust. Some weekend/ holiday time required in this position, and flexibility in scheduling is a must. All employees of NRT are required to successfully complete clear CORI/SORI background checks, in accordance with NRT policies.

Benefits: Limited benefits, in accordance with NRT personnel policies.

    Hello, I am the son of farmer and work on farms since I was a child, i’m 27 years old.
    I love the cultivation of land and animals, furthermore I have many abilities with, tractors and implements, harvesters, and am helicopter pilot.
    I intend to spend some months in the USA to be fluent in English who is weak today.
