Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) has produced a series of educational materials including bulletins that are free to download. They include:

A Whole-Farm Approach to Managing Pests: This booklet attempts to educate farmers about ecological principles of pest control, and how they may be applied on the farm. Based on current research and information from experienced farmers, it provides scientific information and advice about whole farm ecological pest control.

Diversifying Cropping Systems: Provides information for farmers seeking to develop alternative cropping systems and niche products with high market value, using diversity and crop rotation to ameliorate risk, and taking advantage of new products and markets.

Marketing Strategies for Farmers and Ranchers: Presents innovative alternatives to marketing agricultural products based on current research and the real world experiences of successful farmers.

Transitioning to Organic Production: An overview of conversion strategies, requirements and rules. And a discussion of  production practices and marketing strategies and potential.

Profitable Pork, which provides alternative production and marketing strategies for hog producers; and Profitable Poultry, which presents current research and farmer experiences with raising birds on pasture.
