June 14th (Monday) from 2 to 5pm, potluck to follow

CRAFT Potluck and Farm Tour 9 Bean Rows, 5441 N. Overlook Road, Northport Join us for our third CRAFT Potluck and Farm Tour at 9 Bean Rows. Run by Nic and Jen Welty, 9 Bean Rows is a CSA that offers a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, plus eggs and bread. CRAFT Potluck and Farm Tour Meadowlark Farm, 6350 E. Lingaur Road, Lake leelanau Join us for our fourth CRAFT Potluck and Farm Tour at Meadowlark Farm. Run by Jenny Tutlis, Jon Watts and Robert Bartle, Meadowlark Farm is a CSA farm that produces mixed vegetables, cut flowers, herbs and berries. They provide extended season shares, and sell wholesale to regional small groceries and restaurants. Meadowlark works in harmony with nature using organic practices (they are not certified). Their workshop will focus on post harvest production, harvest set up facilities and tools. Learn more about CRAFT. CRAFT offers prospective farmers exposure to and experience with a diversity of farm/garden designs and agricultural practices while also providing a supportive network of farmers and farmers-in-training. The first CRAFT (Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training) program was founded in upstate New York in 1995. Northwest Lower Michigan CRAFT is a new program, designed to support farms with existing internship/apprentice programs.
