University of Tennessee Knoxville Launches Organic Farm Internship and Education Program

*UT Launches Farm Internship Program*

UT’s Organic and Sustainable Crop Production Program will be offering paid internships for the creation and implementation of a market garden program. In this program, interns will gain skills in business planning and management, vegetable and small fruit planning and production, and direct marketing by selling what they produce at a community market on campus. The production component of the internship program will be 9-months long (March through November) with a 16-hour farm/market commitment per week. We are having informational meetings on Monday, October 26 2PM -3PM and Wednesday, October 28, 1PM-2PM in room 223 of the Plant Biotechnology Building on the Ag Campus. For more information, please contact mroger30@utk.edu <mailto:mroger30@utk.edu> or visit https://organics.tennessee.edu/

.

However, we are looking for current UT students because the internship is linked with an agriculture marketing course.
Thanks!
