Connecting with Fellow Farmer Veterans

Gathering together as farmer veterans with individual goals, but in a united spirit of camaraderie…

Members often share their highlight of our conferences:
connecting with other members directly. To exchange ideas and tools. To share start-up stories, challenges faced, and obstacles overcome. To hear that others have struggles, too.

We look to recreate this in a virtual capacity.
Registration has a box for you to indicate topics on which you’d like to connect with other farmer veterans.

Just let us know, and we’ll try to make it happen for you!

Our community is a wealth of knowledge, and we encourage you all to meet and build relationships with each other. Collaborate with those in your neighborhood and your state, and veterans all across the country, too.

Podcast #1: Heather & Ladonna

Just launched – Part 1 of a 3-part podcast on our 2020 conference. Thank you to member, and former Army Ranger, Shay Foulk for hosting.

First up, on this episode:
Twin sisters Ladonna and Heather of Hollyaire Farm in Oregon explain how they cleaned up an abandoned 15-acre property after their service in the Air Force, and now farm it to sell holly wreaths and cherries.

Listen in for the 3 reasons why they found last year’s conference in Austin invaluable, with a look ahead to why our 2020 “gathering” is a must!

They headline our “Sweet or Crunchy” breakout session on orchards – fruit and nut trees. We’re in for a treat; the twins are a delight. They complete each others thoughts, and they complete each others sentences.
