Organic Farm internship in Colorado

Fossil Creek Farms is a family owned and operated certified organic vegetable farm located in Fort Collins, Colorado. We grow a wide variety of produce that is marketed to both retail and wholesale outlets including local restaurants, school districts, farmers’ markets and grocery stores. For the size of our farm, we are highly mechanized including a vacuum planter, a seasonal high tunnel, multiple tractors, several cultivators, a mulch layer, and a transplanter along with three types of irrigation systems. Interns can get a wealth of knowledge by working with the tools and wide variety of crops we have to offer.

We are seeking individuals that are hard working and are willing to commit for the entire growing season. Previous vegetable production experience is not necessary. We are looking for self motivated, dependable individuals who want to gain a broad knowledge and skill set on an organic vegetable farm. For the full season, interns will receive $1500 stipend which can be adjusted for shorter commitments over two months and a half CSA share (see website for more information about the CSA share)
