Now that you are set-up in QuickBooks and have your systems for data entry set-up, we will discuss how to use the data within QuickBooks to make decisions on how to manage and grow your business. We will run reports, including the profit and loss statement and the balance sheet and discuss how to extract important information about your business. We will also talk about how to use the QuickBooks data to build financial projections to bring to prospective lenders.
It is strongly encouraged to watch Parts I & II before participation in Part III. Part I provided an overview of basic accounting concepts that underlie QuickBooks; Part II delves deeper into QuickBook’s capabilities to better manage cash flow, expenses, inventory and more.
