The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association Conference

The Carolina Farm Stewardship Association is having its 25th annual conference in Winston-Salem, NC on the weekend of Dec. 3 to 5, 2010.

If you want to connect with the vibrant local and organic food movement in the Carolinas, it’s a great opportunity.  They expect 600 people to attend.

The conference features over 60 workshops, tours and panels on local/organic food, farming, gardening and scaling up, plus locally-sourced meals. The keynote speaker is Michael Shuman, who will talk about strategies to build local food economies.  He is one of the nation’s premier local economy experts and author of “The SmallMart Revolution:  How Local Businesses are Beating the Global Competition.”
